Jay Cohen was released from Nellis Federal Prison Camp on March 22, 2004 and is now serving a 30 day stint in a federal halfway house in Oakland, California. He expects to be released from the halfway house on April 22, 2004, following which he will start serving two years of probation. Jay continues to press that his conviction was improper and hopes to clear his name, once and for all.

Jay cannot have visitors at the halfway house, so there is no visitation.

How to Visit Jay at FPC Nellis in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Step One:  Get on the Approved Visitor List.To visit, you must be on Jay's approved visiting list.  You must fill out the Visitor Application to get on the approved visit list for Jay.  You need to send a copy of your driver's license and social security card along with the application to the person listed on the Visitor Application.  The staff at FPC will then investigate the proposed visitors before placing them on the "approved" visitor list.

Step Two: The Investigation. In order to ensure that visitors are not criminal associates of Jay's, the staff at FPC Nellis will send out a Visitor Application to request background information from potential visitors.   This form must be filled out and mailed back to FPC Nellis.  Jay will be told when a person is not approved to visit.  It is then his responsibility to inform that person they may not visit.

Step Three:  Schedule Your Visit. In order to ensure that there are not multiple visits one day and none the next, Jay has asked us to schedule his visits.  Jay encourages people to visit as often as possible.   Each and every visit will mean a lot to him.   Please click here to schedule your visit.  If you have any questions, please e-mail or call us.
